About me

Sam has worked in various London-based clinics and as a senior outpatient physical therapist at an independent hospital, specialising in chronic musculoskeletal pain and post-orthopaedic rehabilitation. He is currently working as a senior musculoskeletal clinician within North Central London as part of the Camden MSK NHS team.

He has worked in a team with a variety of consultants such as orthopaedic surgeons, rheumatologists, pain consultants, sports medicine consultants, physiotherapists, and GPs. As a result, he has built extensive experience treating a wide variety of patients, specialising in chronic musculoskeletal pain and post-surgical rehabilitation.

He completed his second Masters (MSc) in Physical Therapy in Musculoskeletal Healthcare and Rehabilitation at University College London (UCL) with distinction, and has recently published a paper in 2025, i.e. a scoping review on current identification and characterisations of interventions for fear-avoidance in musculoskeletal conditions. Building upon his academic involvement, he has worked in a research team on a systematic review on placebo methods in association with Imperial College London, and also worked as a trial manager in a study for people with painful diabetic neuropathy sponsored by the University College of Osteopathy.

He is fully registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and insured under the Institute of Osteopathy (iO).
