About me

**I see clients throughout the UK via remote video appointment, and in person at my clinic in Manchester.**

Hello, I'm Charlotte, I'm a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapist (IPT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapist (EMDR), with a background in Mental Health Nursing. I have over 12 years of experience providing psychological support to people experiencing anxiety, stress, depression and trauma.

During this time, I have worked with a wide range of people, delivering therapy that is trauma-informed, and holistic to each client. I am able to support you in your recovery from Depression and Anxiety difficulties including; PTSD, OCD, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Perfectionism, Panic, Social Anxiety and Low Self Esteem. I have a special interest in supporting people experiencing infertility, pregnancy loss, primary ovarian insufficiency, anxiety during a long-awaited pregnancy, medical and birth trauma.

WHAT IS MY APPROACH?

My training in CBT, EMDR and IPT has led me to develop an integrative approach to therapy. This starts with building a trusting relationship that is based on respect, kindness and safety.

HOW MANY SESSIONS?

Typically, I work with people for 12 - 20 sessions.

ARE WE A GOOD FIT?

Having a good rapport with your therapist, feeling safe, connected and understood during sessions, contributes greatly to the overall experience and success of therapy.

For this reason, I offer all new clients a free 20 minute initial consultation. This is to see how being together in the therapeutic space feels, and will allow us to think about if we could work well together.

NEXT STEPS?

If you would like to arrange a Free 20 minute Initial Consultation. Please email me at charlotte@charlottekimbley.com with your availability, and I will suggest a time to meet for a phone or video call.

My working days are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9-5pm, and I aim to respond within 2 working days.
