About me

A BACP Accredited Integrative Counsellor, I am a friendly, optimistic, and open-minded individual offering you a safe and non-judgemental therapeutic space. I am skilled at supporting others in their own personal development, whatever challenges or exploration they are facing and facilitating change. I believe that we all intuitively know what is right and wrong for us, but due to the pressure that sometimes accompanies modern life we can become cut off from this inner knowledge and our own intuition.
The therapy I offer is practical and collaborative, whether we are working 1-2-1 or in a group. My aim is to share my skills and knowledge so that you feel fully resourced, able to make conscious choices, and live intentionally.

I've always viewed therapy as a tool. A tool that can be used to facilitate growth and change. Its a space to be seen, heard and acknowledged. An opportunity to learn new skills and practice them without fear of the repercussions. To explore your own internal world. In the words of Bessel van de Kolk Neuroscience research shows that the only way we can change the way we feel, is by becoming aware of our inner experience and learning to befriend what is going inside ourselves. Therapy is a space that's just for you, in a world that doesn't prioritise that enough.

As an Integrative Counsellor I incorporate elements of Person Centred, Cognitive Behavioural and Transactional Analysis therapeutic models. This means I tailor the therapeutic process to fit you and your individual needs. My understanding of human beings is that to be truly connected to our intuition, we must also be connected to our body. Using the latest developments in Neuroscience to explore this connection, I incorporate somatic practices known to support our bodys autonomic nervous system in self-regulation.
