About me

I started training in psychology in 2005 and Clinical Psychology in 2013. I have a Doctorate in Psychological Science and received training in CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Practices and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). I have also spent a lot of time training in Process Oriented Psychology (POP) or Process Work. I am registered with the Health Care and Professionals Council (HCPC).

I worked in the NHS, as a psychologist and facilitator, within Adult Mental Health, Adult Inpatient Mental Health and Clinical Health Psychology (Psycho-oncology and Cancer Care).

When working with individuals and couples, I focus on supporting people in understanding and being themselves. This helps people to live life in a way is that better for themselves and those around them.

My approach is largely integrative, drawing on different ways of working at different times. My aim is to co-create a bespoke piece of work that is guided by you and your unique way of being in the world. I travel this journey with you and help you in finding your own way forward.

An important part of my role is supporting you to look at your situation or difficulty with fresh eyes, from a different angle or from a part of yourself you dont currently have access to. From here, different answers, viewpoints and ways forward present themselves.
