About me

Hello, my name is Kirsten and I'm a therapist based near Edinburgh, Scotland.

My approach in counselling is rooted in the person-centred philosophy that we are all capable of finding our own direction to healing and fulfillment. As a therapist my role is to be your ally - to offer an environment which is caring and free of judgement - to work together towards whatever your goal in therapy may be. My training is underpinned by an integrative and pluralistic approach, which means that we work together to collaborate on the best means of helping you towards your desired outcome. Some people know what this is - to recover from previous traumas or losses, to work on forming more meaningful and longer-lasting relationships, or perhaps you have lost your sense of yourself and want to regain this.
