About me
About me
Change, and uncertainty are part of our lives.
You may have reached a crossroads in your life and are not sure which path to take? Maybe you have an important decision to make and need some help exploring it. Perhaps you find yourself pushing people away in relationships, or feel stuck and have been putting things off? You may have a feeling of loss or have experienced loss and are unsure how to deal with it.
Do you feel alone with your struggles, and in need of support and reassurance? Feeling unsure about reaching out to friends, family or colleagues is very common.
It's not easy to take that first step, but we can take some time together to explore and untangle what is going on for you. As your counsellor, I will provide the relationship you need to help you work through what is going on for you and make change. Your time in the session will help you make sense of whatever you want to talk about.
What I offer my clients
My approach is accepting and intuitive, providing a safe and calm space for you, face-to-face, remotely by video or phone, or walking outdoors.
My way of working is flexible and designed for you to make change in the shortest possible time while building foundations for lasting improvements.
My areas of special interest include:
Loss and transitions, relationships at depth and complex relationships, family dynamics, LGBTQ+, young people/students, and women's issues.
What to expect at your counselling sessions
For face-to-face sessions we will meet in my peaceful therapy space in a rural village setting with off-street parking. I also offer sessions remotely via video or phone, or walking outdoors.
Usually we will meet weekly and during the first session we'll explore the key issues in your personal situation and agree a focus. In following sessions, we will explore new ways of seeing and doing things, so that your challenges can be better managed.
