About me

My name is Lurdes Hope and I offer Integrative counselling and psychotherapy to adults and university students in the Kew and Richmond areas.
I�m bilingual and I can support you in both English and Portuguese.

i believe that everyone is valuable and we all deserve love and respect. However, sometimes we may doubt ourselves. At certain points in our lives, when there is change or crisis, our minds can become full of negative thoughts from the past and concerns about the future.

Some thoughts and feelings may become too much for one person only. As a counsellor, I�ll work with you to help you to make progress and learn to live in the present moment. This will enable you to manage your feelings and emotions, and shape your future.

You are a unique individual and as we embark on counselling, my approach will be adapted to your needs. I�ve trained in Integrative counselling and psychotherapy, where I learned about many different approaches to therapy. This means that when you come to see me, I can tap into my broad experience and training, and support you in a way that works for you.

One of the first things I�ll explain in our counselling sessions is that I won�t judge you. As a counsellor, I bring empathy, sensitivity and kindness to the room as we discuss whatever challenges you may be facing. I�m here to help you explore what�s at the core of your feelings, take charge of your decisions, manage how you feel and become more resilient.
