About me
Dr Sangeeta Atwal trained in Medicine at St. George's Hospital Medical School. She completed her post graduate specialist training in Haematology at King's College Hospital, London. She has been a Consultant Haematologist at Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust since 2012.
She has been the Clinical Lead for South West London Pathology and was instrumental in setting up the liaison haematology service for the Royal London Orthopaedic Hospital. She has been the principal investigator for four national and international trials. She leads locally the thrombosis and anticoagulation service. As well as managing general haematology patients, she also covers in-patient haematology on a rotational basis managing patients with haematological cancers such as acute leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.
