About me
Mr Efstathios Drampalos is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in foot and ankle conditions. He is the Chief Foot and Ankle Consultant at Forth Valley Royal Hospital and also practises privately at Circle Health Group Kings Park Hospital.
He also sees private patients in Edinburgh at Spire Murrayfield Hospital and Spire Shawfair Park Hospital.
He treats a wide range of foot and ankle problems, from common conditions to complex deformities and injuries. His aim is always to relieve pain, restore function, and help patients return to their normal activities as quickly and safely as possible.

Experience and training
Mr Drampalos has more than 20 years of experience working in leading hospitals across Europe and the UK. He previously worked as a Foot and Ankle Consultant in Manchester before moving to Scotland.
He trained extensively in specialist centres, completing advanced fellowships in foot and ankle surgery, limb reconstruction, complex trauma, and deformity correction. He has also undertaken specialist training in ankle replacement surgery.
Academic and teaching role
Alongside his clinical work, Mr Drampalos is actively involved in research and medical education. He is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Glasgow and a Visiting Professor of Orthopaedics at New Anglia University in Anguilla. He has published widely in international medical journals, with his research focused on improving treatments and outcomes for patients with foot and ankle conditions.
