About me

I have 20 years experience of working in the NHS as a Speech and Language Therapist. My current position is as Clinical Lead for Voice Disorders at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust.

I have also worked as Lead Speech and Language Therapist for Long Covid, 2022-23.

I am also Qualified in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) for people with Parkinson's.

Areas of interest

Treating people with voice difficulties, sometimes called "dysphonia"; Supporting people who use their voice at work, e.g., teachers, performers, religious and legal professions; Helping people with long-term conditions that impact the voice, such as Parkinson's and Long Covid; Improving
symptoms associated with increased sensitivity or discomfort in their throat.
