About me
Hi I`m Luize,
I am a BABCP Accredited CBT Psychotherapist and EMDR Practitioner.
I have 18 years of experience working within Mental Health Settings including the NHS and third sector organisations such as RASA and Local Advocate Organisations. I currently work for a Specialist NHS Addiction Service providing Group and 1-1 CBT and EMDR Therapy, and I Clinically Supervise within this team.
I am also a qualified Counsellor which supports me in completing detailed and individualised assessments ensuring that clients are offered the most appropriate support and treatment.
Areas of interest
I have a special interest in and I am trained in working with people with Long Term Health Conditions/Physical Symptoms impacting on Mental Health and Wellbeing.
I work with adults (aged 16 years and over), I have experience in treating a wide range of difficulties including Depression, Low Self Esteem, General Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Health Anxiety, PTSD, Panic Disorder and Specific Phobias.
