About me

Mr Osama Moussa is a Consultant Surgeon at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust, specialising in advanced laparoscopic, robotic, and benign upper gastrointestinal surgery. A pioneer in minimally invasive techniques, he established and currently leads the Robotic Upper GI Practice at West Herts, where he focuses on delivering superior patient outcomes through surgical innovation.

With one of the highest clinical volumes in the UK for technically demanding procedures, Mr Moussa single-handedly developed the Multidisciplinary Anti-Reflux Service. He provides comprehensive, expert care for complex hiatal hernias and severe reflux. His clinical background includes prestigious appointments at London's leading institutions, including Imperial College, The Royal Marsden, and UCLH.
