About me
I graduated from the University of Chester with a MSc/ Postgraduate Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics, 2011. The majority of my career has been spent working within GP practices in the North West of England where I worked as a Specialist Primary Care Dietitian, an area I remain very much passionate about and close to my heart.
I left Manchester behind at the end of June 2017 to relocate back home to Northern Ireland to be closer to family. Since then my dietetic career has focused very much around the identification and appropriate treatment of those clients at risk of malnutrition through illness, treatment or other causes.
Areas of interest
The majority of my career has been spent working within primary care and I have worked with clients dealing with a range of conditions, such as cancer, coeliac disease, constipation, type 2 diabetes, pre-diabetes, gout, heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, IBS (including low FODMAP diet), liver disease, malnutrition, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), weight loss, and dietary preferences such as vegan and vegetarian diets.
Happy to take any dietary related inquires for conditions perhaps not outlined above.
