About me

Hello, I'm Sharon, a caring and experienced Accredited Professional Integrative Counsellor/Therapist. I work with adults, young people and children using a Person-Centred approach to support each individual in a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space.

If you are struggling with anxiety, low mood, loneliness, relationships, or finding it difficult to cope with how you're feeling, you are not alone. With over 12 years' experience, I can help you connect with your thoughts and emotions and work together using supportive strategies to build self-esteem, self-worth, and confidence.

I support individuals experiencing anxiety, social anxiety, and depression, and I have over 20 years of experience working with people who have disabilities, including those who are neurodivergent or physically disabled. My aim is to work alongside you as a team, helping you to feel understood, empowered, and supported. My practice is informed by both professional training and lived experience, which supports a compassionate, empathetic, and inclusive therapeutic approach.

I offer flexible ways of working. Sessions can take place remotely via phone or video call, and I am highly experienced in online therapy. I can also offer home visits within a 20-minute travel radius of FY4.

Throughout my career, I have supported people of all ages facing a wide range of challenges, including low mood, anxiety, loneliness, motivation difficulties, and issues around self-esteem and self-worth. Together, we can work towards greater confidence, understanding, and emotional wellbeing.
