About me

I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist who has worked exclusively in the area of adult Autism (previously known as Asperger's syndrome) and ADHD for over 20 years, both in the NHS and in private practice. People I see pursue an assessment as they are experiencing difficulties in their lives and wonder if it may be due to Autism and / or ADHD. I complete comprehensive, detailed diagnostic assessments which provide understanding and meaning and help people find ways to manage areas they are struggling with.

I'm a highly specialised Consultant Clinical Psychologist passionate about the needs of neuro divergent clients (ASD/ADHD). I believe a diagnostic assessment should be comprehensive, of high clinical standard whilst also being meaningful, compassionate, help the individual to understand how the diagnosis relates to them and also recognise their strengths. I have particular interests in the overlap between the two diagnoses, how they present in women and understanding a person's neuro developmental differences within the context of their life.

I also offer post diagnostic sessions to understand the diagnosis and how it helps to explain the areas someone is struggling with, their differences and strengths and also some�strategies to help with areas someone is struggling with. �The work often includes adjustment to the diagnosis and thinking about how the diagnosis helps someone to make sense of their differences and move forward with this new understanding.
