About me

Mr Cooper is a Specialist in Oral Surgery.

He is dual qualified gaining a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Birmingham and Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from King's College London.

He has worked extensively in Oral Surgery and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery providing a vast range of complex oral surgical procedures both in the hospital setting and within primary care.

Mr Cooper's NHS roles include
- Consultant Oral Surgeon - Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust
- Oral and Maxillofacial Specialist Doctor - Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust
- Dental Core Training Programme Director - East of England Region

With extensive experience in treating and managing highly nervous patients within the Special Care Dentistry Service, he adeptly handles patients under local anaesthesia, intravenous sedation, inhalation sedation, and general anaesthesia.

His calm, gentle, and softly spoken approach instills confidence in his patients, putting them at ease.

Mr Cooper plays a pivotal role in training hospital dentists in the East of England region and regularly organises specialised Oral Surgery teaching courses and events.
As a recognised Dental Workforce Educator and Tutor in Oral Surgery, he contributes significantly to the field.
