About me

Hello and welcome!

I'm delighted to introduce myself as a child and adolescent clinical psychologist dedicated to helping young people and their families navigate life's challenges. My journey in psychology started with a First Class BSc (Hons) in Psychology, followed by a Masters degree (MRes) and a PhD in Cognitive Psychology. These academic experiences have given me a deep understanding of the human mind, all leading up to my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.

I am a registered member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and one of the few specialists in a secondary CAMHS service. This means I have a wealth of experience working with children and teens who are dealing with various emotional and psychological issues. I understand how children and young people grow and develop, and I use this knowledge to tailor my approach to each individual.

Therapy can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially for young people. That's why I focus on creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where children and young people feel safe and understood. I blend different therapeutic techniques to find the best fit for each person, always aiming to make our sessions as effective and comforting as possible.

My goal is to build a trusting relationship with every young person I work with, respecting their space and boundaries. By doing so, I hope to make therapy a positive and empowering experience, helping young clients feel better and more in control of their lives.
