About me
I am an HCPC and BPS registered psychologist and have worked in the NHS since 2010. In addition to my doctorate, I have a Masters degree in Clinical Forensic Psychology. I have extensive experience and knowledge across the lifespan but primarily work with children, adolescents, parents and families. I am able to assess and provide interventions across the range of social, emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties. I have particular expertise with neurodevelopmental disorders and regularly carry out assessments and provide support for difficulties associated with these diagnoses.
Sometimes clients have found gaining a new perspective on their situation is enough to instigate change to their lives and other people prefer to work slowly on specific areas. Together we can discuss what you want to be different about your situation and come up with some achievable goals.
I aim to offer a confidential space for children or parents to discuss their concerns and consider potential areas for change. I am a parent to two daughters and have experienced late-term pregnancy loss, which has given me a unique perspective upon which I can draw within our sessions.
