About me

Dr Martin studied at Gonville and Caius College Cambridge, graduating with a BA in Physiology. He completed his medical training at the Oxford University Medical School graduating BMBCh followed by Cardiology training in Edinburgh and Newcastle, specialising in cardiac rhythm management.

During training in Newcastle he completed an MD at Newcastle University, examining genetic determinants of atrial fibrillation.

Following training in the UK he undertook a British Heart Foundation Travelling Fellowship at Hopital Haut-Leveque, Bordeaux, France.

Dr Martin was appointed as a Consultant Cardiologist, specialising in heart rhythm disorders in 2017
