About me

I have been a haematology consultant at Frimley Park Hospital since 2017. I am a general haematologist and look after adults with a broad range of haematological conditions, including cancers and blood clotting or bleeding disorders.

I qualified from the University of Edinburgh with honours in 2008. My haematology registrar training was as a NIHR academic fellow at Imperial College London.

I am the lead consultant at Frimley Park Hospital for thrombosis, obstetric haematology and the anticoagulation service.

I am dedicated to my patients and pride myself on ensuring an excellent standard of care. I am totally committed to continuing improvement and innovation, including AI and research. I am the principal investigator at Frimley Health for the PETS trial.

Procedures offered:
- Bone marrow aspiration and trephine biopsy
- Iron infusions
- Venesections (for myeloproliferative disorders)

Areas of interest

General haematology (anaemia, high or low white blood cell count, high or low platelet count); thrombosis; anticoagulation; myeloma; myeloproliferative disorders; lymphoma; chronic leukaemias

I do not investigate disorders of high iron levels (high ferritin or haemochromatosis).
