About me
Miss Breuning is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon who specialises in treatments for birthmarks.
After completing Specialist Plastic Surgery Training for adults and children in Birmingham, she spent a year training at British Columbia Children's Hospital in Vancouver, Canada, before taking up a consultant post at Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool in 2016. Whilst at Alder Hey, she advanced the busy Laser and Vascular Anomalies Department, providing care to hundreds of babies and children with haemangioma, portwine stains and other vascular anomalies from across the North-West region, as well as paediatric burns and trauma cases.
She currently works as a Senior Lecturer in Postgraduate Medical Education at Edge Hill University, as well as in her private practice at The Grange Clinic in Chester, where she continues to treat babies and children with infantile haemangioma, portwine birthmarks and adults with vascular skin conditions (such as telangiectasia, spider veins, rosacea) and scars.
She takes a great interest in treating children, aiming to involve them as much as possible in the consultation, and to make them feel as comfortable as possible during treatments.
