About me

Mr Breck Lord is a fellowship-trained Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist focus on hip and knee conditions.

He has extensive international training and combines surgical expertise with a tailored, evidence-based approach, specialising in managing complex sports injuries such as ACL ruptures and multi-ligament knee trauma.

His joint preservation work includes meniscal repair, cartilage regeneration procedures and realignment surgery (osteotomy).

He treats arthritic conditions of the hip and knee, offering both partial and total joint replacement using the latest techniques and is committed to providing personalised care, exploring all non-surgical options before considering surgery.

Mr Lord completed medical training at Cambridge University and University College London and then he onto achieve a PhD in knee reconstruction from Imperial College London.

He is an experienced educator and has taught surgical techniques at institutions including Oxford, Southampton, Notre Dame, and both Sydney and Melbourne universities in Australia.
