About me

I am an HCPC registered, BPS-Chartered Counselling Psychologist, BABCP Accredited Cognitive and Behavioural Psychotherapist and a Clinical Fellow of the International Neuropsychological Society (NPSA). I have over 13 years of combined clinical experience in the NHS, primary care and in private practice.

My aim is to provide a confidential space where you can share your experiences without shame or fear. Together we will examine the origins of your difficulties, what maintains them, and how you want to address them. I will listen to you carefully, help you clarify your situation and together we will think about possible ways forward.
Change can be daunting or terrifying but it does not have to always be. You may be going through burnout, relational problems, a lack of drive, anxiety, stress, feelings of failure, powerlessness, guilt or shame, loneliness, loss, or have been a victim of injustice, discrimination, trauma or abuse. When you wish you had more understanding and control over repeating patterns, or to find more acceptance and peace with loss, then it is time for therapy.
My approach to therapy is integrative and it moves across an axis of recovery / discovery. Depending on your difficulties, we might find it useful to set goals of change, resilience and drive and work towards them methodically and systematically, or to adopt an exploratory stance and redefine your problem statements - or we can work anywhere in between.

I have worked with individuals with acute, chronic or severe mental health difficulties and had the privilege of working with individuals from different walks in life. I also have clinical management experience which, together with my specialising in CBT and psychoanalytic therapy, allows me to think more systematically around clinical treatment, which I aim to tailor to the individuals needs.
