About me

About Me
It can be daunting entering therapy (whether it�s your first experience or returning), and my goal is to create a non-judgmental, safe space where you feel truly heard and valued through evidence-based techniques. I am a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with over 5 years of experience within the NHS.

We will work together to help you overcome your difficulties whether that�s day-to-day stress, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem or trauma. In your one-to-one sessions, we will start to build a shared understanding of your difficulties to develop tailor-made coping strategies that suit your needs at a pace that is comfortable for you.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of working closely with adults (18+) from a variety of cultural backgrounds, both in one-to-one sessions and in supportive group settings, which has been incredibly fulfilling.

- Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapies at Kings College London, Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience
- Accredited BABCP Practitioner
- MSc Clinical Psychology at Royal Holloway University
- BSc Psychology at Huddersfield University

What is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)?
CBT is a widely-used talking therapy focusing on the connection between your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. It aims to help you identify and challenge how we think (cognition) and what we do (behaviour) to improve how you feel.

Is CBT for me?
I offer a short (15-20 minute) consultation to determine if we are the right fit, free of charge.

Availability
I understand life can be busy and unpredictable, which is why I am currently offering flexible appointments on video call or telephone to accommodate your preferences and comfort level.
