About me
Hello, I'm Zheng, a Clinical Psychologist of Chinese heritage, trained in the UK, with 13+ years of experience working in the NHS. If you're exploring therapy, I offer a warm, non-judgmental space where we can work together to make sense of what you're going through. I take a collaborative, holistic approach, influenced by my deep interest in culture, philosophy, and spirituality. I'm mindful of how aspects like ethnicity, gender, sexuality, religion, and cultural background shape someone's experience of the world. These parts of you are welcome in our work together, and I hold space for them with thoughtfulness and care.
I work in both English and Mandarin, drawing on a range of evidence-based approaches such as ACT, CFT, CBT, psychotherapy, narrative and systemic therapies. I'm also currently training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) approach. Whether you're dealing with trauma, self-criticism, life stress, grief, or relationship difficulties, I'll work alongside you to find a path that feels authentic and meaningful.
Beyond my clinical work, I also serve as a Senior Lecturer in the UK, teaching doctoral trainees in Clinical Psychology. I deliver engaging lectures, immersive workshops, and reflective seminars, drawing on a deep understanding of complex psychological frameworks enriched by my clinical experience.
People often describe me as warm, grounded, and open-minded; qualities I hope you'll feel when we work together. If you're looking for a space to explore what matters most to you, I'm here to support that process.
