About me

Hello! I am Dr. Zheng Zhou, a warm, open-minded, and non-judgmental clinical psychologist, deeply passionate about exploring the realms of culture, philosophy, and spirituality. This profound passion has driven me to cherish the essence of tailoring therapy to authentically align with the unique needs of each individual I have the privilege of working with. Through collaborative efforts, I assist my clients on their path of self-discovery, deftly intertwining the threads of their ethnicity, gender, religion, sexuality, spirituality, and culture, creating a rich and diverse tapestry of their identity.

With over 11 years of invaluable experience within the NHS, I have honed my skills in providing therapy in both English and Chinese (Mandarin). My diverse expertise extends to guiding individuals through an array of emotional and psychological challenges across the lifespan, including trauma, self-criticism, life stress, grief, and relationship distress.

Beyond my therapeutic endeavours, I serve as a senior lecturer in the UK for doctoral trainees in Clinical Psychology. I conduct engaging teaching sessions, immersive workshops, and insightful seminars utilizing a wide knowledge base of complex psychological frameworks, enriched by my experience in clinical psychology practice.
