About me

Life itself is complex and through no fault of our own brings up many challenges that can lead to worry, anxiety, self-criticism, stress and low-esteem to name a few. As a clinical psychologist, I am flexible in my approach and work with a range of difficulties. I strongly believe therapy can be such a rewarding experience and the importance of creating a safe space in offering a non-judgemental and compassionate place for a person to feel heard and understood as we work together towards what is important to you. As such, issues relating to past or present, it is a space to create self-awareness and further move towards your values.

As a Clinical Psychologist, I work from an integrative approach, drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)? and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT). I believe in working collaboratively and working from an approach that fits with what a person wants to achieve.

I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation, as I feel it is important for the you to get to know me and sense if I am a good fit for what you hope from therapy sessions. I am aware that therapy can be a rewarding, yet challenging experience and want to ensure I can share the ways I feel I can support with this.
