About me

Darren is a HCPC registered Chartered Physiotherapist with nearly 20 years clinical experience within the NHS and private sector and provides comprehensive treatment for common and complex musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries. Within the NHS, he works as a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist at University Hospital Southampton within the Wessex Spine and Lower Limb services.

His qualifications include an MSc in Physiotherapy, a Postgraduate Diploma (PgD) in Manual Therapy and BSc (Hons) in Sport Rehabilitation. He is a member of the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP), a group of just over 1000 UK Physiotherapists who have displayed clinical excellence in the field of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. He is a clinical educator for both undergraduate and postgraduate Physiotherapists and has been a national clinical mentor for the MACP since 2015.

Outside of work, he is kept busy by his 3 children (and all their endeavours) and if not running after them, enjoys a run around Romsey and Braishfield!
