About me

Darren is a Master's level trained Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist with 20 years clinical experience within the NHS and private sector. He is a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist within the regional spinal centre (Wessex Spinal Service), and the Orthopaedic Knee Service, both based at University Hospital Southampton. In addition to these specialisms, he also provides comprehensive treatment for common and complex musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries.

His qualifications include an MSc in Physiotherapy, a Postgraduate Diploma (PgD) in Manual Therapy and BSc (Hons) in Sport Rehabilitation. He is a member of the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP), a group of just over 1000 UK Physiotherapists who have displayed clinical excellence in the field of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.

He has recently been awarded the Eurospine Diploma in Interprofessional Spine Care.

Outside of work, he is kept busy by his 3 children (and all their endeavours) and if not running around after them, enjoys a local run around Romsey and Braishfield!
