About me

Dr Webster trained in medicine and theology at the University of Cambridge and Clinical Medicine at the London Hospital Medical College. His psychiatric training was at the Bethlem Royal and Maudsley Hospital/Institute of Psychiatry where he won a research post, publishing about functional neuroimaging. He subspecialised in eating disorders and worked as a consultant psychiatrist in eating disorders at the Gerald Russell National Eating Disorders Unit at the Bethlem Royal and Maudsley Hospitals. He is a trained practitioner of Cognitive Analytic Therapy and Motivation Enhancement Therapy and uses a collaborative, evidence based approach in the treatment of all eating disorders and conditions of general psychiatry.
Dr Webster has been the Lead Consultant in Eating Disorders at The Priory Chelmsford for 11 years and now works there as a Consultant Psychiatrist in Eating Disorders. He also works at Priory Life Works in Woking; Priory Arthur House in Wimbledon and has an outpatient practice in the Priory Wellbeing Clinic in Oxford
