About me

My name is Dr Kate Kamson and I am HCPC, Charted Clinical Psychologist.

I am calm, passionate and an experienced psychologist who has worked in the NHS and research settings for over 15 years. I work with young people and working aged adults mainly. I use an individualised approach and work mainly with mental health issues such as generalised anxiety, depression, social anxiety, trauma work, thinking challenges, self esteem issues.

I understand that at times in our lives, we need support and this may be where therapy can be helpful. I am a good listener, and I like to be led by the client to focus on what matters to them.

I use a range of therapeutic approaches including:
