About me

I am a highly experienced CBT and EMDR therapist with a distinguished career encompassing senior clinical lead roles. My expertise lies in treating all anxiety disorders, PTSD, trauma, ADHD, and the challenges associated with low self-esteem, perfectionism, low mood, low motivation, and depression. With a strong background in both the NHS and private sectors, I offer a compassionate and collaborative approach to therapy.

I am driven by building strong, trusting relationships with my clients. I believe that a supportive and collaborative therapeutic alliance is essential for progress. My focus is on empowering individuals to achieve their goals and make lasting changes in their lives.

I provide a comprehensive assessment that takes into account your early and later life experiences. This assessment will span the first couple of sessions. I will provide you with a detailed formulation of the main problem, illustrated in a diagram of how I think your main problem developed and is being maintained. Following this, we will collaboratively develop a tailored treatment plan that aligns with your individual goals.

My approach creates a supportive, non-judgmental space for you to explore challenges and build resilience. I emphasise collaborative goal-setting and action planning, empowering you to develop self-sufficiency and achieve lasting change. By combining empathy, structure, and evidence-based techniques, I can help you gain clarity, purpose, and a sense of fulfilment.
