About me
I am a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) and supervisor. I have worked as a psychological therapist for over 10 years, working mostly for an NHS service and more recently in private practice. Alongside this, I work as a lecturer in psychology at the University of Surrey, teaching students cognitive behavioural therapy techniques, and training them to become NHS talking therapists.
I specialise in CBT which is an evidence-based treatment for anxiety and depression, and its success has been researched and approved over many years. I am extremely passionate about CBT and the life changing impact it can have.
I have a specialist interest, and have received further training in, working with parents who have perinatal mental health problems and working with individuals who struggle with low-self-esteem. I have also received further training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT).
Sessions with me are non-judgemental, collaborative, driven by evidence-based interventions and often include shared laughter. I frequently attend training to strengthen my skills and ensure I am up to date with the latest research. I constantly receive excellent feedback from clients.
If you are interested in booking a session, please contact me via email - I'd love to hear from you:
