About me

With over 20 years of experience working in mental health, I am passionate about supporting people through difficult moments in their lives and helping them move towards meaningful change.

My career began in 2005, and since then I have worked across a variety of mental health settings within both the private and public sectors. I spent over nine years working in a busy psychiatric inpatient environment with The Priory Group, supporting individuals with complex mental health needs. I have also worked within the NHS in a Substance Misuse Unit within a prison setting, gaining valuable experience working with people facing significant life challenges.

More recently, I worked as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) with Nuffield Health, providing individual therapy across four locations. I now offer therapy remotely, making support more accessible and flexible for clients.

I work with both adults and adolescents and support clients with a wide range of difficulties including depression, anxiety, panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), self-harm, phobias, stress management, and loss and bereavement.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative and tailored to each individual. While CBT forms the foundation of my work, I also integrate elements of Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop greater self-understanding, resilience and self-compassion.

Alongside individual therapy, I also offer group therapy for clients who are looking for a culturally sensitive and supportive space to connect with others who may share similar experiences.

I believe therapy should feel like a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. My aim is to help you gain practical tools, build confidence, and create lasting change so you can live a more balanced and fulfilling life.

If you are considering therapy, I would be honoured to support you on your journey.
