About me

I am an experienced Gastroenterologist and specialise in the investigation of all gastoenterological symptoms. My areas of particular interest include dyspepsia, abdominal pain, oesophageal diseases, Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, functional GI disorders, diarrhoea, iron deficiency and irritate bowel syndrome. I have a background in clinical nutrition and oversaw the Welsh intestinal failure service between 2017 and 2023. I have a Master of science degree (MSc) in nutrition and a research doctorate (MD) degree in oesophageal diseases. My current NHS practice is focused on diagnostic out-patient clinics and endoscopy. I have performed thousands of upper and lower GI endoscopies and I am a JAG accredited endoscopist and I am accrediting to be a bowel screening Wales endoscopist.
