About me
I was appointed as a consultant urologist with special interest in uro-oncology and renal failure surgery in 2004. Since then I have developed laparoscopic renal surgery in Northern Ireland. I diagnose and treat all urological malignancies.
I also developed laparoscopic pyeloplasty and Orthotopic Bladder reconstruction in Northern Ireland.
I continue to investigate and treat all other urological conditions such as blood in the urine, urinary tract infection, symptoms of prostatic enlargement, raised PSA, erectile dysfunction, testicular swellings, incontinence, vasectomy and problems of the foreskin.
I was the clinical lead for Urology in Belfast Trust from 2006 -2009, then Clinical Director for Urology from 2009- 2015 until I became Associate Medical Director. In 2018 I was appointed Deputy Medical Director and then in January 2020 appointed Medical Director in Belfast Trust until January 2024, when I returned to full time clinical practice.
I am focused on high quality, safe, patient-centred care. I successfully revalidated with the GMC in 2019
