About me

Based in North Northumberland, I offer one-to-one, in-person counselling in Berwick-upon-Tweed and telephone/video counselling to UK-wide residents. I'm an experienced counsellor and accredited BACP member qualified to work with adults and young people aged 13 years and over.

I use an integrative approach with person-centred values at the core of my work. This means that we can draw on a range of approaches to help you reach your goals, tailored to your specific needs but our sessions are always led by you; you bring what you want to discuss and we go at a pace that you choose.

As your counsellor, I do not offer advice or solutions and I do not judge you or what you bring to counselling. Instead, I offer a safe space where you can explore, express and make sense of your thoughts and feelings, so developing a deeper understanding of yourself, leading to increased self-awareness and personal growth.

I have extensive experience working with people of all ages and have a specific interest, and training, in working with adolescents.

In order to provide my clients with the best service I can, I regularly undertake career development and training sessions and courses to increase my knowledge and skills.
