About me

I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist with over 10 years' experience and have worked with many kinds of distress including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, addiction, workplace burnout, relationship breakdown, infertility, infidelity, loneliness, anger, self-sabotage.

Sometimes things feel stuck or you may be going through some challenging changes and want someone outside your circle to talk to.

While the symptoms of your distress may take familiar forms such as anxiety, hopelessness, anger, or difficulty with eating or sleeping, the underlying causes can lie deep within the internal world of your lifetime of relationships and experiences.

Through talking and listening, I can help you to explore and get to know the different parts of yourself with curiosity and without judgment. Therapy offers the chance to grow your understanding of how problems may have developed or unwanted patterns may be recurring in your relationships or experiences. As well as the here and now, we can explore your memories, longings and dreams and what happens in our own relationship as it develops, aiming to expand your conscious awareness and understanding, perhaps thereby opening up new possibilities.
