About me

Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatobiliary Medicine specialist based at Manchester Royal Infirmary, a prominent tertiary hospital serving the Northwest of England, UK. Holding a full Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in the United Kingdom and a post CCT-Fellowship in Hepatobiliary Medicine from the renowned Manchester Foundation Trust, I bring substantial expertise to the field of Gastroenterology and Hepatobiliary Medicine in a tertiary-level healthcare setting.

As a seasoned consultant, I am a Senior Advanced Independent Endoscopist, proficient in performing intricate procedures such as Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and both diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS). I am also recognized as a certified Bowel Cancer Screener by the Joint Advisory Group of Endoscopy in the UK (BCSP). In addition to my proficiency in diagnostic and therapeutic Gastroscopies and Colonoscopies, I am a certified endoscopy trainer with a Train the Trainer certificate from the Joint Advisory Group of Endoscopy (JAG-UK).

My extensive experience extends to research, particularly at the Pancreas Unit at Manchester Royal Infirmary. I am actively involved in supervising Doctorate fellows at The University of Manchester and have contributed significantly to the field with numerous publications and international presentations.
