About me

I am a professionally qualified and accredited psychotherapist and specialist fertility counsellor with over 30 years of experience within the support and therapy field. I have a broad-based knowledge focusing on solutions interventions. Areas I have covered include: children in care, probation, homelessness, drug and alcohol abuse, psychiatric and mental health issues. In addition to this, I also have expertise in counselling loss and grief, relationships, infertility and mental health as a few examples.

I run my own service within Women and Children's planned care at the Countess of Chester Hospital, as well as private practice working with individuals and couples. My unique skills and qualifications enable me to be fully present with my clients, facilitating a productive session.

I am accredited by the British Infertility Counselling Association [BICA] and British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapists [BACP] and membership of British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Therapy [BABCP].

My career working for the NHS has provided me with a unique opportunity to work with such a diverse client group. This has ultimately led to my specialist qualification in fertility counselling.

I am intuitive, balanced and level-headed whose clients relate well to. I am a good organiser and am able to motivate and inspire others with a vibrant yet methodical personality.
