Dr Susan Boyle is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 30 years of NHS clinical experience of psychological assessment and therapy. Dr Boyle has worked across a range of specialities including Adult Mental Health; Medical Specialities; Occupational Health and Addictions.
She has a compassionate and 'easy to engage with' interpersonal style and builds collaborative relationships to provide therapeutic support.
Dr Boyle has lengthy experience of working with a range of presentations including depression and low mood; all types of anxiety disorders and stress; adjustment disorders; trauma; grief; bereavement; relationship difficulties; eating disorders; living with physical health problems; addictions and supporting people in decision making and times of transition.
Dr Boyle is trained and experienced in a range of evidence-based psychological therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT) and Trauma informed therapies. She tailors psychological interventions to provide integrative, personalised approaches to support clients holistically.
