About me
My name is Stephania Wieland, and I am a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with over 13 years of experience, mostly gained within the NHS. I now split my time between private practice and NHS work.
I offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), as well as Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and work with clients with a range of mental health problems such as:
 Depression
 Phobias
 Generalised anxiety disorder
 Health anxiety
 Obsessive compulsive disorder
 Panic disorder
 Social anxiety disorder
 Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
 Complex PTSD
 Binge eating disorder
 Bulimia Nervosa
Non-underweight anorexia (BMI 18.5 or above)
In addition, I have a special interest in how cancer impacts mental health. My aim is to help you understand your difficulties and make meaningful change using practical therapeutic approaches.
I am an accredited member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), and my details are listed on the CBT Register UK.
I am also a BAMBA accredited Mindfulness teacher (British Association for Mindfulness Based Approaches).
Life can be challenging, but we continue to grow. I see my role as supporting you in that growth.
