About me

**I offer counselling sessions either online or face to face in Rugby (Hillmorton area)**

Many of us at some point in our lives feel the need to ask for help...

It may be a culmination of experiences that leaves us feeling drained and unable to cope, or a sudden crisis or trauma that destabilises our world. We can be left feeling angry, depressed, highly anxious, alone and out of control, or even suicidal.

Sometimes we're not sure what's wrong, we just know that we don't feel right.

Counselling is an opportunity to explore these feelings in a safe, non-judgmental and confidential environment, where you can try to make sense of them and find a way forward that feels right for you.

I would like to help you live the life that you want to live, and not the life that you feel you ought to live.

About me:

I am a BACP (Accredited) Counsellor and a qualified Clinical Supervisor.

My qualifications include:

- Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling;
- Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision including Online and Telephone Working (Level 6);
- Certificate in Online and Telephone Counselling.

I have experience of working as a counsellor at several hospices and a bereavement charity.

I regularly undertake CPD as well as specialist training to further support my clients.

I am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) which ensures information is protected under the Data Protection Act as well as being compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) guidelines. I have an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate and am registered on the Government DBS update service.
