About me

Mr Khalid Malik is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic consultant with a sub-specialist interest in hip and knee surgery. His surgical expertise includes primary total hip and total knee replacement, unicompartmental knee replacement, knee arthroscopy, revision hip and revision knee replacement.

Mr Malik graduated from Imperial College London, School of Medicine in 2012. After completing higher speciality training in Kent, Surrey & Sussex, he undertook specialist fellowship training at the prestigious Wrightington Hospital, internationally renowned as the birthplace of modern lower limb arthroplasty. During his fellowship, Mr Malik received extensive training in primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgery and developed expertise in managing complex hip and knee disorders, revision surgery, impaction bone grafting, custom hip and knee replacements and direct anterior approach of the hip. Mr Malik was also awarded the British Hip Society Travelling Fellowship Bursary, which facilitated his visitation to the orthopaedic unit at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, an international centre of excellence for hip and knee replacement surgery.

Mr. Malik�s primary focus lies in ensuring his patients thoroughly understand their medical conditions, while actively involving them in the shared decision-making process for their treatment. He places clear communication, empathy, and collaborative decision-making at the heart of his interactions with patients.
