About me

Seeking help may not feel comfortable, especially if talking about your emotions and problems doesn�t come easy to you. However, most people find it helpful to talk in a safe, non-judgemental, confidential space, and find the whole process rewarding and can even be life changing.

I am a Person-Centred Counsellor and offer psychological therapy for a wide range of adult mental health difficulties. I work within an integrative approach and have a Counselling Diploma Level 4 and offer 20 years� experience of counselling. I am an Accredited member of the BACP (Membership member 386354) and am committed to working in accordance with their ethical framework. I am also an accredited member of the National Counselling Society.

A great deal of my work is around anxiety, depression, feelings of sadness, low mood, overwhelment, trauma, relationship difficulties, and struggles relating to low self-esteem and self-worth. I also support clients through life transitions and health issues, including cancer.

I work extensively with issues relating to attachments, grief, bereavement, and loss, including pregnancy loss. I have experience working as an Adoption counsellor for the General Register Office, which provided me with the opportunity to gain a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience working with adopted adults wishing to explore the circumstances surrounding their adoption.
