About me

I am a Consultant Psychiatrist practicing in General Adult Psychiatry and Addictions Psychiatry. I am hard working, conscientious and passionate about delivering the highest standards of patient care.

I have gained a wide range of experience in both community and inpatient settings and can
confidently and empathetically communicate with people from a wide range of backgrounds and
experiences. Throughout my training and afterwards, I have consistently demonstrated clinical leadership and building trust within a multi-disciplinary team setting. Recognising individual and professional worth is an integral part of my practice.

As I have extensive experience of working in the General Adult Psychiatry, I undertake initial
psychiatric assessments for patients who are admitted for various mental health issues to the
as well as conduct general psychiatric assessment as required depending upon their
needs. This helps me determine the appropriate care to be provided, and work with the
multidisciplinary team based at these detox / rehab centres, to ensure delivery of the care
appropriately.

My responsibilities include having an overall oversight responsibility for the team in clinical

ultimately responsible for the care of all patients admitted under my supervision.

I am capable of independently providing high quality patient care which includes, admission,
