About me

I am an experienced, Hand & Upper Limb Orthopaedic surgeon. I treat all orthopaedic conditions affecting the shoulder, elbow, hand and wrist. I have trained across orthopaedic centres in Edinburgh, Glasgow, the Northeast of England and latterly spent a year in Perth, Australia to complete my subspecialty fellowship training.

I am a keen sportsperson and enjoy an active lifestyle. Recognising the importance of this, I aim to maintain my patients' function whilst limiting recovery time to allow them to continue their physical pursuits and quality of life.

Research interests

Current active research focused on improving accuracy of implant positioning in reverse shoulder arthroplasty, peripheral nerve blocks for the management of shoulder pain and physical therapies for tendinopathy.
I continue to be the local Principal Investigator for multi-center clinical trials.

Personal interests

I am an active hockey player for Dundee Wanderers competing in a regional league. I also enjoy mountain biking.
