About me
Dr Soudeh Mashayekhi is a Consultant Dermatologist with extensive experience across all areas of dermatology. She sees both adults and children and has a particular interest in the diagnosis and management of acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo, urticaria, hidradenitis suppurativa and hair and nail disorders .
Dr Mashayekhi graduated from Imperial College Medical School in 2014 with a Distinction and also holds a First Class Honours BSc in Management from Imperial College London. She completed her medical training at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and the Royal Free Hospital before securing a highly competitive Academic Clinical Fellowship and Registrar training post at St John's Institute of Dermatology, Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.
During her training at St John's Institute of Dermatology, the largest dermatology unit in the UK, Dr Mashayekhi gained extensive experience managing complex dermatological conditions in tertiary referral clinics, with patients referred from across the country. She has a specialist interest in medical dermatology, particularly in the management of severe or treatment resistant skin disease. She also has substantial experience in skin cancer assessment, including comprehensive skin checks and management.
Dr Mashayekhi is highly skilled in performing skin biopsies and a wide range of dermatological surgical and non surgical procedures, including the removal of benign skin lesions and treatments for keloid scars, hair loss and warts.
Dr Mashayekhi has authored and presented over 30 publications and presentations at national and international conferences and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Research from King's College London. She applies her strong academic and research background to ensure patients receive evidence based, up to date and personalised care.
