Dr Sree Lakshmi Rodda is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust specialising in the treatment of prostate cancer, bladder cancer and kidney (renal) cancer. Since her appointment as a consultant in 2016, she has dedicated her practice to caring for patients with urological cancers,providing expert diagnosis, personalised treatment planning, advancedradiotherapy and specialist second opinions.
Dr Rodda completed her specialist Clinical Oncology training within the Yorkshire Deanery before undertaking an advanced fellowship in Prostate Brachytherapy at the internationally renowned BC Cancer Agency, Vancouver, Canada. During her fellowship, she developed advanced expertise in prostate brachytherapy, treating patients with localised and advanced prostate cancer using the latest radiotherapy techniques.
She is recognised for her expertise in prostate brachytherapy, MRI-guided radiotherapy, stereotactic radiotherapy (SABR/SBRT) and precision cancer treatment. Dr Rodda has published extensively in peer-reviewed medical journals, particularly in the field of Prostate brachytherapy, reflecting her commitment to advancing treatment
and improving outcomes for patients with urological cancers.
Dr Rodda cares for patients with newly diagnosed, recurrent and advanced prostate,
bladder and kidney cancers, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalised treatment plans based on the latest clinical evidence and each patient's individual needs and priorities.
Her expertise includes External Beam Radiotherapy (EBRT), MRI-guided adaptive radiotherapy (MR Linac), MRI-guided Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy (MRI-guided SABR), Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT/SABR), Renal SABR, Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), Image-Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT), High-Dose-Rate (HDR) and Low-Dose-Rate (LDR) prostate brachytherapy, chemotherapy, androgen deprivation therapy (ADT), and personalised systemic cancer treatments.
