About me

I qualified over ten years ago and I have worked in several different settings with a broad range
of clients and difficulties. I currently work both in the NHS and in private practice. I am experienced in using psychological therapies to help alleviate emotional distress across the lifespan, and my clinical practice is informed by evidence-based approaches. I have worked using CBT with people experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, OCD, panic, depression, generalised anxiety, trauma and health anxiety. A cognitive behavioural approach is also useful where a high level of self-criticism or perfectionism is present. I have also worked extensively with individuals whose emotional distress arises in the context of work stress or living with a long-term physical health condition.
