About me

I am a qualified Clinical Psychologist. I qualified with the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2013 from Exeter University.

I am a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS), Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and a registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). This means I adhere to the highest of standards.

I have held senior and consultant posts in NHS mental health services and also offer services in private practice.

I specialize in helping individuals who are struggling with anxiety-related difficulties, low mood/depression and trauma (e.g. PTSD/Complex PTSD). I am an integrative psychological therapist, which means that I am trained in and use multiple therapeutic approaches in my practice to tailor the psychological intervention to each persons specific needs.

I have specialist training which is designed to help individuals who may feel stuck with long-term difficulties with anxiety or depression. I also specialise in working with individuals who experience difficulties managing their emotions.

I have completed additional specialist trainings in:-
Short Term Psychodynamic Therapy (ISTDP)
Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)
Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).
